Rebecca Bra by Bestform – review by Lauren Colfer

Bra: Rebecca in black by Bestform.
Review by Curvy Kate model Lauren Colfer.
My size: 30G
When I was asked to review this bra, I was glad to find a basic, functional black bra; something I haven’t purchased in ages.
The first aspect that struck me was that I felt 100% supported; the band is firm, but flexible – so there is no cutting in.
The front of the bra has a lovely rounded shape and the mesh detailing allows for some sexiness, which is nice in a basic bra.
The knickers had the same detailing …

Freya Pollyanna: Brastop Blog bra of the week

I’ve only had the Freya Pollyanna caramel bra for two days, and already I know it’s going to be a firm favourite at the top of my  underwear drawer, which I wasn’t expecting.
You see, it was a gift, and normally, I wouldn’t have chosen a full-cup bra for myself (I prefer balconette), but I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how good this bra is.
It’s been a while since I’ve regularly worn a Freya bra (I used to be a big fan of Freya and Fantasie – but most of my …

REVIEW: Lepel Nightwear

Have you guy notice Brastop is now stocking nightwear??? We received some lovely pieces in November to add to the collections on-line so I thought I’ll do a review on some of them.
My Size – 30GG
Clothing Size – 10/12
Height – 5″2
Brand – Lepel
A lot of the trouser bottoms were a little long on me because I’m quite short, hence why i added my height so you can determine whether it would be too long or short for you. The Lepel range has proven to be very popular so far and they are selling fast especially with the festive season on the door …

Curvy Kate Emily Bra

Last week we covered  variety of sizes in the Freya Deco bra, comparing and contrasting the look, feel and fit of a classic, hugely popular bra.
This week, we’re looking at another best seller and a firm favourite with the Brastop Blog: the Curvy Kate Emily balconette bra.
The Emily is very much a “classic” bra in the traditional sense, supportive underwires, lace-mesh with a comfortable, uplifting finish to give a flattering fit and a striking look. It’s often described as a “vintage” looking bra – a touch of …

Apparently, Hollywood star Winona Ryder she hates bras.
“Bras give me backache, you know?” said the 39-year-old actress in a recent interview.
“The first thing I do when I get home is take off my bra.”
I know how she feels – when I get home from work some days, all I want to do is get out of my bra and into a loose t-shirt.
The chances are, Ms Ryder is either wearing the wrng size of bra, or the wrong style for her shape, which could be causing her discomfort.
Maybe Winona should …

The Sun newspaper recently ran a slideshow feature reviewing some of the best sports bras on the market, for every shape and size.
It’s a nice little feature, quick to read, on a topic that all girls should familiarise themselves with, especiaally if you exercise regularly, like me.
One of the bras that caught my eye was the Freya Sports Ative Bra, which should be a good choice for Brastop fans, since it comes in sizes from 28-40C-H.
Also, the M&S High Impact Underwired Sports Bra at only £18 comes in sizes 32C-F, …
