All the wrapping paper has been recycled, the diets have started and we’re still finding glitter on our clothes from last Saturday night. In recent weeks, it’s been reported that a series of Marks & Spencer billboard and bus stop adverts have been censured for being too ‘provocative’.
The adverts were among 8,000 over the past three years that received complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority because of the negative effects they may have on children.
In particular, the advert “Perfect Fits” (replete with a close-up shot of an M&S model’s boobs in a bra) was criticised for being a bit too suggestive.

I found an article by Treacle on The Lingerie Addict that I feel I need to take some issue with.
