Curvy Kate Thrill Me in azure and peach review

And onto our second review of the day! You’ll be sick of the sight of me soon enough…
We look back at the Showgirl classic, the Thrill Me. This has been a firm favourite with Brastop customers, and we don’t blame you. Who doesn’t love the jewel tone colours and adorable ruffles?! As with any brand, style and fit changes over time, particularly from the original designs. Curvy Kate is still a young company but they’ve been tinkering away to make the fit of every set even better than before! Don’t …

My size: 30HH
Fit: This bra is very supportive and gives you a great, natural-looking shape and the 30HH size was a perfect fit for me.

Curvy Kate Tease Me Review

Recently I’ve been going through one of the best lingerie ranges I know, the Curvy Kate showgirl. With the recent addition of the Tempt Me, it seemed only naturally to update the reviews now that the design has been altered and the fit is much more reliable. And with the Thrill Me under my belt, next up comes the Tease Me! With two new Tease Me additions to the Brastop family (Lauren Colfer looking drop dead gorgeous in the almond and baby pink) you lot seem to be quite enamoured …

Krisline Queen body in white: Brastop Blog Bra of the Week

Okay, so the Krisline Queen body isn’t exactly a bra, but it’s still my bra of the week here at the Brastop Blog.
I think I’ve said before here on the blog that in the dim and distant past, I was once a big fan of bodies. I owned a Marks & Spencer black body a long time ago, and it ended up in tatters because I wore it so often (one of the cups lost its underwire – and I STILL wore it, it was so comfortable). I also have …

Panache Harmony Balconette review

My second review for the Brastop Focus Group focuses on a Panache Harmony Bra
Product description:
- Underwired balconette bra.
- Great support
- Adjustable shoulder straps
- Adjustable back fastening – 3 hooks
- Beautiful elegant embroidery
- “Hugging” cups
- 79% Nylon, 14% Polyester 7% Elastane
- And don’t forget the matching panties!!!
My Size: 36FF
Fit: To be honest I could “feel” this bra when I first tried it on, so I moved from the middle hook on the back fastener to the last hook.  After one wash it felt a bit more flexible so I’ve gone back …

Freya Active Underwired Sports Bra review

One of my non-bra related resolutions for the New Year was to exercise more. Not to lose weight – I’m very happy with my curves – but for two reasons. The first being that I am dreadfully unfit and the second that my curves are actually very squidgy. I haven’t got enough will power to go on a diet, and so my 2012 is to get healthy. This was all well and good until I realised that I can’t run for a bus without being in agony, how was I …

Freya Pollyanna: Brastop Blog bra of the week

I’ve only had the Freya Pollyanna caramel bra for two days, and already I know it’s going to be a firm favourite at the top of my  underwear drawer, which I wasn’t expecting.
You see, it was a gift, and normally, I wouldn’t have chosen a full-cup bra for myself (I prefer balconette), but I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how good this bra is.
It’s been a while since I’ve regularly worn a Freya bra (I used to be a big fan of Freya and Fantasie – but most of my …

Bra: Flirtelle Sublime bra
Flirtelle: Flirtelle is Brastop’s own brand so you won’t find it anywhere else. And they go right up to J cup!!
My size: 30HH
Fit: It’s a very tight-fitting bra, which I love as I feel completely supported in it. It also gives you a naturally sexy shape too.

Colour: It’s a gorgeous black bra and every girl needs a sexy black bra and this is it! It’s got the right mix of luscious lace and a soft satiny feel. I’ve zoomed in on the picture so you …

Flirtelle Daisy balconette: Bra of the Week

Back when I started writing here on the Brastop blog, I was sent a bra by (then) relatively unknown brand Flirtelle. I had never heard of them before, and, while the bra looked nice and seemed well-made, I wasn’t sure it would work for me. You know what it’s like – you get accustomed to certain brands, specific styles, patterns and colours – and you find it difficult to make the switch. Well, certainly, I do.
However, I gave it a go, and pretty soon it became one of my favourite …

Review – Flirtelle Vineyard

Well, it’s official – I am not a true Brastop fan. And do you know why? Because it’s taken me this long to try a Flirtelle bra, the shame! For some reason I just hadn’t gotten round to testing Brastops own brand but thanks to the Focus Group I finally could. It’s not that I went out of my way to ignore them, but with so many bras on offer, sometimes brands and styles fall to the back burner. Now enough excuse making from me, lets get on with the …

Review: Criss Cross in Purple/Fuchsia by Curvy Kate

Bra: Criss Cross in Purple/Fuchsia by Curvy Kate
Product description:

Sleek and supportive bra in rich purple with contrasting fuchsia pink criss cross detailing across the cups and gorgeous matching pink ribbon bows. Designed in supportive three piece cups to guarantee perfect fit up to J cup! 5% Polyamide, 15% Elastane

My size: 30HH
Fit: In the picture above I’m wearing a 28HH and, although it seemed to fit when I first put it on, throughout the day it did become obvious that it was the incorrect size for me in both band size and …

REVIEW: Lepel Nightwear

Have you guy notice Brastop is now stocking nightwear??? We received some lovely pieces in November to add to the collections on-line so I thought I’ll do a review on some of them.
My Size – 30GG
Clothing Size – 10/12
Height – 5″2
Brand – Lepel
A lot of the trouser bottoms were a little long on me because I’m quite short, hence why i added my height so you can determine whether it would be too long or short for you. The Lepel range has proven to be very popular so far and they are selling fast especially with the festive season on the door …

Review: Panache Superbra Ariza in teal/pink

Bra: Panache Superbra Ariza in teal/pink
My size: 30G
Fit: I LOVE the fit of this bra. I opted for a 30FF as I find that in Panache bras I’m closer to a FF cup than a G (a 30G can often leave me with a little too much space to warrant wearing it) but that could just be the shape of mine. The back is comfortably snug and after a slight downsize, the cups fit like a dream. The doubled layered half cup means I’m covered but also supported, where I …

I have been lusting after the Flirtelle bras for quite some time now, but due to my aversion of non padded bras I so far managed to reason with my inner shopaholic and stop myself getting my hands on one of the gorgeous flirty sets for fear that it would go unworn.
However, recently I have found myself slowly warming to the idea of having a comfortable everyday bra that didn’t give me such an under the chin cleavage and this bra was definitely the answer…
Product Description:

Supportive …

The Bestform Rebecca bra isn’t frilly, it’s pretty but functional but it’s one of the very best bras I’ve ever worn.
It’s definitely does what a bra is supposed to do and the uplift is gravity defying. It gives a shape that makes me think it should have been called Marilyn, rather than Rebecca, because of its quite retro 1950s sweater girl look. It doesn’t create a cleavage, so it’s not for your plunge neckline tops, but it is amazing under jumpers, dresses with more modest necklines and under T-shirts it’s …

Now, I have to confess something – I am a Lepel Fiore addict. Years ago when I decided it was high time my ample-of-chest teenage self actually needed to be fitted correctly, the black balcony Fiore was my first “real” bra, in a 32E. Fast forward a few years (and bra sizes) and its still one of my favourite bras. The fit, for me, is near flawless, and the cut is flattering and practical, so apologies if this review is a bit of a gushing tale of love.
Bra: Fiore full …
